Samsung Galaxy S3: Wolfson conferma l’utilizzo del chip audio DAC di alta qualità
Confermata ufficialmente quella che era una indiscrezione che sinora aveva ‘incuriosito’ più di un utente di Galaxy S III: la nuova ammiraglia di Samsung è effettivamente equipaggiata con un chip DAC realizzato da Wolfson, dedicato alla conversione dei suoni da digitali ad analogici, e capace di una notevole qualità audio in uscita.
A confermare la notizia è stata la stessa azienda scozzese, che in una press release scrive che un suo prodotto, l’Audio Hub WM1811, è stato scelto per finire sul GS3.
Il chip consentirebbe, continua la PR, una qualità audio della voce ‘cristallina’ e la possibilità di riprodurre audio e video in maniera estremamente ricca, grazie ai convertitore DAC di alta qualità a 24-bit, alla riduzione attiva del rumore e ad altre magie dell’elettronica. Non è chiaro, per ora, se il chip di Wolfson sia utilizzato o meno in tutte le varianti dello smartphone.
